Alaskan Halibut Fishing Journey

If you're looking for a Great Fishing journey then you should go to Alaska Halibut Fishing. As you'll see it's more than simply a fishing trip. I not long ago went to Alaska ( for the 1st time ) to go Halibut fishing, and got way more than I had predicted.

I went in a single passenger Plane, just the Pilot and me sitting side by side. The flight to the lodge takes you over and between several Mountains that are always Snow capped. Besides the Halibut I caught Coho and King Salmon, Ling Cod, Red Snapper. If you need to go Stream Fishing with either Spinning or Fly-fishing gear that is also available. We encountered Bear's also fishing in the stream. Visitors who travel or cruise there discover that Alaska is far away to be a wild land and are charmed by its majestic beauty and highly rich wildlife. Due to this facts in North America are a large amount of agencies that offer travel packages and hot deals to Alaska. Also, there are loads of corporations that send cruise ships to Alaska with plenty of fan vacationers on board. But hot deals of Alaska do not stop at cruises and holiday activities. Alaskas streams and lakes are crammed with enormous salmon, rainbow trout, Arctic burn, barn door halibut, and a lot of other challenging ( and mouth watering.

State of Alaska is also famous as a bears country, so there is the right place to buy travel packages for the truly brave hunters. Beside bears, in this state can be successfully hunt elk, moose, caribou, deer and more.

Lunch on the ship, sandwiches, soda, lager, smoked Salmon. Dinner is principally the fish caught that day but served like you have never had fish prepared before, we also had a Steak dinner. The fish that are caught every day are fillet and frozen in separate vacuumed sealed packages. Each package is a pound of 2 and you select the p.c. of each kind of fish caught you are taking home. I took 75% Halibut and 25% Salmon and had about one hundred pounds of frozen fish in two prepared to take boxes. As you can see this could be a very professional operation and I guarantee when you go that you'll agree that it's more than simply a fishing trip, it is an Alaskan Halibut fishing journey.
